Cafe By Kai is the creation of classically trained European chef Kai Ellmann, who also owns a multi-award-winning smokehouse tucked away in a Surry Hills laneway. Kai's career spans celebrated kitchens such as The Ritz London, where he cooked for members of the British Royal Family, to more than two decades as one of Australia's most sought-after food stylists.
